Ayaan Badan book presents the history of a Somali girl called Sahra. She was living with her family as a pastoralist. Sahra eventually runs away from the nomadic life and seeks a better life in Bosaso. From the beginning, Sahra works as house-maid. After marriage Sahra becomes one of the richest women in Bosaso. That is why the books title is “The fortunate girl” or Ayaan badan.
